National Account Manager
Full Time, remote OR Plymouth, MN office.
Media Group Communications is currently seeking a National Account Manager experienced in the telecommunications/information technology industry.
Media Group Communications' environment is fast moving, very social, and highly creative. Employees wear a lot of hats: from process development, liaising with influencers, community growth, to record keeping. A successful candidate will bring energy to the office and clients, will contribute to the company's growth and success, and as such, will develop a larger role for themselves in the company.
The National Account Manager will report to the Vice President of Business Development on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 + years of direct sales experience to the small to mid-sized business market
- A proven track record of consistently meeting and/or over-performing quota
- Ability to develop new territory from scratch
- Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
Sample Daily Tasks
+ Establish and maintain mutually beneficial client business relationships to deliver client satisfaction and account retention.
+ Develop and execute sales plans including client identification, qualification, proposal development, proposal delivery, negotiation, and sustainability of ongoing business.
+ Achieve and exceed profitable sales revenue objectives for the assigned client base.
+ Execute business reviews externally with clients and internally with the leadership team.
+ Maintain awareness of industry, competition and market conditions and leverage current client relationships to develop new business opportunities.
+ Provide sales reporting and metrics as required.
+ Efficiently and effectively use the sales tools at the disposal of the National Accounts team including but not limited to Salesforce.com.
+ Work closely with the Project Team to develop and deliver client monthly reports.
+ Attend weekly team meetings with high level of contribution & organization.
+ Become an advocate of the Company online and offline; includes social media spaces, engaging in dialogues, and answering questions where appropriate.
